Applying natural eyeshadow is a simple process. Learning how to apply eye makeup correctly, on the other hand, is no easy chore. How do you pick the perfect hue for your skin tone and eye colour? Is it really necessary to have ten different makeup brushes? Will you ever utilise all of the makeup colours in the palette?
We understand how easy it is to become perplexed about how to make your eyes pop, so we've put up a five-step tutorial to explain to you how to use all those eyeliners, mascaras, and shadows. Let's get this party started:
1. Begin With High-Quality Organic Makeup Kits & Brushes
Famous artists don't finger paint since it's far more difficult to make a masterpiece without the right tools. The same is true when it comes to applying makeup. For an even, accurate, and sanitary makeup application, invest in a few fine cosmetic brushes. Fortunately, you can acquire excellent ones without spending your entire income.
Synthetic brushes are nearly always preferable to natural-fiber equivalents, and they are cheaper, simpler to clean, and allergy-friendly, according to the Good Housekeeping Institute Beauty Lab's testing of the top makeup brushes. (Spoiler alert: all of our winners were synthetic, and the professionals couldn't tell the difference between them and more expensive natural options.)
2. On The Lid, Apply A Basic Natural Eyeshadow.
Grab your favourite natural eyeshadow palette and spread your chosen foundation shade across your eyelid with your makeup brush. You may take this foundation colour all the way up to your brow bone for a more dramatic smokey eye, or stop at the crease for a more basic, daily look, depending on the effect you're looking for.
In the latter situation, here's a failsafe trick: when your eyes are open, apply the colour in the crease of your eye and work your way down to the lash line. You'll never overshoot your crease or wind up with sloppy lines this way.
3. In The Crease Of The Eye, Concentrate A Deeper Shadow.
Because dark hues attract light, using a deeper tone of shadow in the crease of the eye makes your eyes pop by adding depth and dimension in just the perfect place.
Dip a domed brush, like the e.l.f. Blending Brush, into a dark shadow and sweep it down the eye socket, following the curve of your eye between your brow bone and eyelid, to get the appearance. No matter what your eye colour is, a rich brown like Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Thunderbird is a universally attractive choice.
When your kids organic makeup done then they want to look yourself and eyes are open and you have hooded eyes, the upper lid covers the majority of your movable lid. That means you'll have to experiment with alternative, higher crease shadow locations, because if you only apply around the eye socket, the colour will fade as soon as you open your eyes. Instead, start with your eyes open and draw a line with your brush where you want the dark hue to appear. Close your eyes and blend over your lids, smoothing down any harsh lines and concentrating pigment in a "V" shape on the furthest corner of your eye.
4. Use a super-dark colour to rim your lash lines
Correctly placed eyeliner may make your lashes appear fuller. If you don't like eyeliner, a super-dark eyeshadow may give you a comparable effect (and is simpler to remove!). Apply the dark colour using a flat, short-bristled brush around the margins of your upper eyelid, where your eyelashes begin, and down the lower lash line. If you want to line your waterline (the innermost rim of your eye), the bristles may hurt your eyes, so sketch this line with one of our favourite waterproof eyeliners.
5. Use a lovely sparkly shadow as a highlight.
Apply a sparkly light natural eyeshadow or pencil immediately under the brow to make your brows sparkle and create lift. To brighten things up even further, apply the same pearly light hue to the inner corner of the eye. Apply a couple coats of our favourite mascara to finish, and you're ready to go.
